About this product

Quercetin (in chemical-free apples and onions) is a strong antihistamine and can help with allergy relief. Quercetin can also reduce blood pressure, plaque build up (by cholesterol) and risk of vascular disorders due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Coumaric acid can be formed from coumarin in plants like apples, tonka beans, cinnamon and clover. Coumarins inhibit the synthesis of vitamin K, which is essential for blood clotting. Synthetic forms of Coumarins are used in drugs such as Warfarin (Coumadin) that are anti-coagulants (blood thinners) and prevent blood clots (in arteries and veins in the heart, brain, lung, arteries, etc.)
