Case Study: Irish Granny Died After Taking Ozempic following Metformin

In my last article, Another Tragic Story About Ozempic, I discussed the problems with the weight-loss drug Ozempic. Here is another tragic case from Ireland.

A 66-year-old woman died in December 2023 of total organ failure after she developed profound electrolyte abnormalities on a background of severe vomiting whilst taking Ozempic for weight loss and Metformin to control her diabetes. Here is the case history:

* She was put on Metformin in 2016 for Type II diabetes

* In 2020 she experienced osteoarthritis and uncontrollable weight gain

* In September 2023 she was put on Ozempic. She lost some weight but two months later complained of persistent nausea

* She died in December 2023 after non-stop vomiting and hypotension (low blood pressure).

* The officially stated proximate cause of death was “hypovolemic acute kidney injury associated with the use of Ozempic, an angiotensin receptor blocker (Losartan) and non-steroidal agents and with a resultant severe Metformin induced lactic acidosis!”

* In other words: Ozempic was the trigger but other drugs were all accomplices too!
